Wildcats have had another
great term of learning and I am very proud of the achievements and efforts of
all students. Last Friday we said goodbye to Miss Cowan, a student teacher from
Newcastle University. Learning was fun with Miss Cowan for the four weeks,
cooking cakes and doing a lot of work with money. We discovered that Jack may
well be a chef in the future with his excellent stirring skills. The Wildcats
have also been working on their “narratives” and the stories have been
sensational. Heidi’s story about the two boys “trick or treating” was very scary
and entertaining to read. We are still working on our class goal to get our
games afternoon, and are feeling sure we will get those last few ticks before
the end of term.
Term 3 is looking very
exciting. I can’t wait to see how much the Wildcats will grow and learn.

Year 2 had a great time constructing toys as part
their science unit, 'Toy World'.
Term 3 Class News
Week 8
The Wildcats have
continued to work really hard during Term 3. We have been learning about
Transport and many students have bought in their fabulous projects. Well done
guys!
We have also been
looking at Procedures and the students have been making some interesting things.
Also this term Wildcats have settled into the new sport rotation and are
enjoying learning about many sports. There are many talented sportsmen and
sportswomen amongst us.
Finally, big
congratulations to the “Wildcat” spelling bee finalists, Montanna, Georgia,
Kallan and Lachlan. You all did extremely well. They put in a great effort and
did their class proud.
